The family and I went down to the beach yesterday, it was very clean and made for a great day but I have to say this whole closure because of the creek crossing is such a pile of BS. I went over and checked out the crossing and walked from one side to the other, its one giant slab of rock all the way across with some good sized dips in it, no dirt or gravel to stir up. NO WAY could anyone "blaze" across it without breaking something major unless you have a buggy on 44s. There aren’t any signs, markers or any implication that you shouldn’t cross it so is everybody supposed to be psychic to know its illegal to cross it? It would be so easy to put up signs and make a road block out of boulders, dirt or logs. I think it is so lame to close it without trying to fix the problem first especially when it’s the Forest Services fault for never doing anything about it.

The rock that we are standing on runs all the way to the other side.
