lets see what i can do about that...

Image

heres my zuk a few months ago,a few times out after that i ripped a shock tower off and ripped a hole in the frame.

i decided to 4 link the front with 16in fox air shocks
lower links are 2.25 .375 wall dom, johnny joints with a 1.25 in shank

upper links are 1.5in .250 wall dom,7/8 heims all

brackets are a mix of ballistic and ruff stuff all 1/4 in
all a bit over kill just the way i like it.

lowers are parallel the uppers are triangulated.

lowers are 40in,uppers 31in calc. says the AS is around 75% i think that it will be livable, and any time it would be an issue i will have the front sucked down anyway

im going full hydro with a single ended ram.
the wb is 105 (95 in the old pics)all of the links are in place and done the front tube work is just tacked, the ram still needs to be mounted.i do have the orbital mounted

heres a blurry cell phone pic of the new front tube work. ill post some better ones once i get it all welded and painted(shooting for wed.)

the new belly height is at 19in on 37s it was 17.5 when i had it on leafs.

I wouldn't mind seeing some tech talk in here, especially since I have been throwing around the idea of building a mild sami to beat the crap out of! :ympray:

well thanks for the compliment.

i have got a lot of work done in the last week. i ran out of c25 tonight il go get my bottle refilled some time tomorow if i can make it up to showlow.

all of the tube is in place all but 2 are welded all the way
i have to get the tie rod built and mount the ram for the steering,i may buy a diff. ram than what i have if i had one that was 2in shorter(length not stroke) i could put it in the spot i like the best if i try to put the ram i have now in that spot it will interfere with the upper links.

im going to get the brake lines ran this weekend, get the tcase back in,mount the winch, and build a driveshaft.

ill post some tech on building a cheap, strong driveshaft at home. i have built many at home and can get them damn near perfect.

i put a battery back in it and fired it up for the first time in a long time ran good and made me happy to hear it run after all this time.
