Does anyone know who does repairs or tuning on CBs here in Flagstaff? I asked at the truckstops (LA and Bellemont) and they didn't know of anyone.
Mine has been not working well for the last few runs, and yesterday it quit. I ordered a replacement, but if I can get this one fixed it'd be good for a spare or to go in the truck.

Nope; called them today and they said they don't do CBs anymore.

It's probably a PITA, but I know you can send it back to Uniden for the repair. They sell refurbished units all the time on their website.

there is Apollo Communications in Glendale... I know thats not in Flagstaff, but I have had my stuff worked on there, I believe they are the only CB specialty shop in the state (aside from Firestick...).

i too need some CB help
i have a radio shack model that is SUPOST to be 5 amp but i can receive waaaay easier than i can transmit. some times no one can hear me (which defeats the whole purpose of an emergency frequency)
contrary to what the name "radio shack" suggests, no one there knows anything about radios, especially CBs.

one day i was driving around town, got someone advertising CB repair (via conversation) on CH 19
but i couldnt break into the conversation to ask
dude lives up here and its a hobby of his
ring any bells to anyone?
